Abstract:
Three different weathering approaches, which allow examining or eventually simulating natural aging, were compared. Natural exposure was found the most authentic, but the most time demanding. Accelerated indoor aging was found the less time demanding, but with incorrectly chosen experimental conditions it can generate unrealistic results. Byly porovnány tři odlišné přístupy, které umožňují zkoumat, popřípadě simulovat, přirozené stárnutí polymerních materiálů. Přirozená expozice materiálu byla shledána nejrealističtější, časově však nejnáročnější.
