Lange Frans & Baas B: "Kamervragen" Attitude of the Dutch hiphopers to the society

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá písní "Kamervragen" od nizozemského hiphopového dua Lange Frans & Baas B jako příkladu vyjádření postoje nizozemských hiphoperů ke společnosti. V první části této práce je pozornost soustředěna na vznik hiphopu ve Spojených státech a jeho příchodu do Nizozemska. V následující části se píše o záměrech a důvodech Lange Franse & Baase B k vytvoření "Kamervragen" a o jejich očekávání od této písně. Dále následuje rozbor písně samotné. Závěr práce je věnován reakcím na píseň "Kamervragen", vyskytujících se na internetových forech a v internetových a novinových článcích. Ve stejné části jsou také porovnány tyto reakce s reakcemi, které Lange Frans & Baase B na "Kamervragen" očekávali.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis considers song "Kamervragen" composed by the Dutch hiphop duo Lange Frans & Baas B as an example of expression of the attitude of Dutch hiphopers to the society. The first part is devoted to the origin of hiphop in the USA and its arrival to the Netherlands. In the next part is spoken about the aims and reasons of Lange Frans & Baas B for making this song and about their expectation from this song. In the third part is the attention paid to the analyse of the song "Kamervragen". The last part is devoted to the reactions of people to the song "Kamervragen" and comparing between these reactions and the reactions, which Lange Franse & Baas B expected.
