The evaluation of significance of separate cut off in proof of the Lupus Antikoagulant presence

Abstract:

Antifosfolipidový syndrom je klinicko-laboratorní jednotka, která je definovaná přítomností antifosfolipidových protilátek a různými klinickými projevy, z nichž nejčastější je trombóza. V plazmě přítomné APA jsou detekovatelné ELISA metodami (ACLA, antiβ2- -GP I) nebo koagulačními testy (LA). Diagnostikou LA se zabývají specializované laboratoře, které si nastavují vlastní „cut-off“ pro jednotlivé diagnostické testy. Předmětem práce je nastavit nové „cut-off“, porovnat je se stávajícími.

Abstract:

The antiphospholipid syndrome is a clinical laboratory unit that is defined by the presence of antiphospholipid antibodies and various clinical symptoms, the most common being thrombosis. APA, present in the plasma, are detectable by ELISA methods (ACLA, antiβ2- -GP I) or coagulation tests (LA). The specialized laboratories that deal with the diagnostics LA have their own set „cut-off" for individual diagnostic tests. The object of this work is to set up a new „cut-off" and compare them with the existing ones.
