Cysteine Thiol Group As A Target Of Covalent Protein Kinase Inhibitors

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na proteinové kinázy, popis jejich funkcí v organismu, onemocnění, které mohou vzniknout jejich deregulací, a na jejich inhibitory. Konkrétně se zabývá inhibitory, které cílí na thiolovou skupinu cysteinu proteinkináz a mechanismem jejich účinku.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis aimes at protein kinases, a description of their function in organism, an illnesses, which can be caused by their deregulation, and at their inhibitors. It particularly deals with inhibitors which targets the thiol group of cysteine in protein kinases and with mechanism of their effect.
