Abstract:

Tato bakalářská diplomová práce mapuje osudy západočeského městečka Manětín v průběhu času, kdy zde působili rytíři sv. Jana Jeruzalémského. Můžeme tak sledovat jeho postupný počáteční vývoj ve 2. polovině 12. století, následující období růstu, rozkvětu a vrcholu, ale také postupný úpadek zapříčiněný v důsledku vypuknutí husitských válek a o pár desetiletí následující jeho definitivní odprodej. Vidíme tak komplexní historii dané lokality v určitém časovém rámci podanou ze všech možných úhlů pohledu za vlády johanitského řádu.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis charts the destinies of the Western Bohemian town Manětín over the course of time when the knights of the Order of Knights of the Hospital St. John of Jerusalem. Thus we can see its gradual initial development in the 2nd half of the 12th century, the subsequent period of growth, rising and peaking, but also the gradual decline caused by the outbreak of the Hussite Wars and the final sell-off a few decades later. We see such a complex History of a given site within a certain time frame given from all possible points of view under the Knights Hospitaller.
