Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to examine the theme of jazz in two novels by Christian Gailly, a French contemporary author. It tries to find the way the jazz is present in the novels, his role in the plot, it notices the influence that this musical style has in the choice of the verbal expressions and in the style of the author in general.
Abstract:
Cílem práce je rozebrat téma jazzu ve dvou románech současného francouzského autora Christiana Gaillyho. Práce se snaží vystihnout, jakým způsobem je jazz v románech přítomen, jakou v nich hraje roli, všímá si, jak je touto hudbou ovlivněna volba výrazových prostředků i autorův styl celkově.
