Why 26 dimensions?
Abstract:
Hlavnou náplňou bakalárskej práce je yýpočet komutátora momentu hybnosti. V snahe zjednodušiť tento výpočet zavedieme parameter kapa a tak sa vyhneme problému počítania s nekonečnom. Týmto sposobom ukážeme, že v bozónovej strunovej teórii musí byť 26 dimenzii, ak má byť zachovaná Lorentzova symetria.
Abstract:
The main part of the thesis deals with calculation of angular momentum commutator. In attempt to make this computation as short as possible we use normal ordering and introduce the kappa parameter to avoid infinities. This way we demonstrate there must be 26 dimensions in Bosonic string theory if Lorentz symmetry is supposed to hold.
