The Motivational System of a Specific Non-profit Organization with Regards to the Employee Needs

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá srovnáním míry shody motivačních prvků využívaných či přítomných v postupech a dokumentech konkrétní neziskové organizaci s reálnými potřebami jejích zaměstnanců. Do výzkumu byli zahrnuti řadoví zaměstnanci a vedoucí pracovníci na různých úrovních organizační hierarchie. Výzkumná strategie vychází z kvalitativních výzkumných metod. Použitými technikami sběru dat byly polostrukturované rozhovory, standardizované dotazníky a analýza formálních dokumentů organizace. Polostrukturovanými rozhovory se zaměstnanci a vedoucími pracovníky organizace a analýzou formálních dokumentů autorka zjišťovala přítomnost a uplatňování motivačního systému či jeho prvků v řízení organizace. Administrováním dotazníků a rozhovory autorka ověřila reálné motivační potřeby zaměstnanců. V závěru práce je zodpovězena hlavní výzkumná otázka, získaná data jsou interpretována a v diskusi jsou připojena také doporučení pro praxi.

Abstract:

This diploma paper inquires into the comparison of the range of motivational components´ congruency used or present in the practice and documents of a specific non-profit organization and the real needs of its employees. Ordinary employees, and leaders on various levels of organizational hierarchy were included in this research. The research strategy is based on qualitative exploratory methods. The techniques of data acquisition were semi-structured interviews, standardized questionnaires and analysis of the formal organizational documents. Having interviewed the employees and organizational leaders and having analyzed formal documents, the author of this diploma paper surveyed the actual presence and exercitation of the motivational system or its components in the organization proceedings. Having administered the questionnaires and using semi-structured interviews, the author saw into the employees´ real motivational needs. The acquired data are interpreted and the central research question answered in the conclusion of this paper, and practice recommendations are attached in the final discussion.
