Nova Horka Chateau: history and transformations of the baroque mansion

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je pravdivě vylíčit osudy a proměny ne příliš známého zámku Nová Horka nacházejícího se v Moravskoslezském kraji. Práci jsem pojala jako rešerši dosavadní literatury, kdy jsem se za použití komparace, po pečlivém prostudování jednotlivých materiálů, snažila rozkrýt chyby nebo nepřesnosti, které se během let objevily, a ty následně vyvrátit a na základě archivních pramenů opravit. Přínos této práce tedy nespočívá v nových objevech, nýbrž ve snaze o historicky přesné vylíčení skutečnosti.

Abstract:

The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to truthfully describe the fate and changes of the not very famous Nová Horka Chateau, which is located in the Moravian-Silesian region. I conceived the work as a search of the existing literature, where, using a comparison, after carefully studying the individual materials, I tried to uncover the errors or inaccuracies that appeared over the years, and then refute them and correct them based on archival sources. Thus, the benefit of this work does not lie in new discoveries, but in the effort to describe a historically accurate fact.
