The aim of the diploma thesis is to point out the actual presentation of fortified sights and monuments in Europe and suggest a strategic plan for the fortress town Josefov. The thesis mainly deals with this town. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on European fortified monuments, their presentation and examples of good practice but also on history and present of the fortress town Josefov. …more
