Tato závěrečná práce se zabývá problematikou sémantických sítí ve vybraných kulturních a lingvistických kategoriích. V teoretické části je blíže přiblížen pojem sémantika. Poté, v praktické části, je popsána práce s dotazníky a sděleny výsledky průzkumu. Pozornost je věnována především německy mluvícím zemím, České republice a Trinidad & Tobagu.
