Beta diversity of gall-forming insects of temperate forest ecosystem.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá beta-diverzitou hálkotvorných organismů v temperátních lescníh oblastech. Cílem je vytvořit literární přehled o diverzitě a ekologii hálkotvorného hmyzu na vybraných stromech v temperátní oblasti. Výzkum v Poodří probíhal ve dvou letech, v roce 2014 od června do srpna a v roce 2015 od května do července. Bylo zkontrolováno 70 stromů v 5 druzích: Tilia cordata, Quercus robur, Carpinus betulus, Acer campestre a Fraxinus excelsior, nacházejících se na okraji a uvnitř lesa. Celkem bylo zjištěno 41 druhů hálek, z nichž bylo 28 druhů hmyzu a 13 druhů roztočů. Nejpočetnějšími čeleděmi byly Cecidomyiidae a Cynipidae a celkově nejvíc druhů bylo zjištěno na stromu druhu Quercus robur. Při porovnání druhové bohatosti bylo zjištěno, že na okraji lesa byla vyšší alfa-diverzita, větší počet druhů i vyšší beta-diverzita než uvnitř lesa.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the beta-diversity of gall-forming organisms in temperate forest ecosystem. The aim of this thesis is to create a literary review of ecology and the diversity of gall-forming insects living on selected species of trees in the temperate zone. The research in Poodří was conducted in two years, between June and August 2014 and between May and July 2015. It was checked 70 trees in 5 species: Tilia cordata, Quercus robur, Carpinus betulus, Acer campestre and Fraxinus excelsior, located on the edge and within the forest. It was found 41 species of galls, out of which 28 were insects species and 13 species of gall-forming mites. The most numerous families were Cecidomyiidae and Cynipidae, with the most species overall being found on Quercus robur. The comparison of the species richness showed that on the edge of the forest were higher alpha-diversity, higher number of species and higher beta-diversity than inside the forest.
