Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku self-managementu a time-managementu. Teoretická část práce je rozčleněna do tří kapitol, přičemž první kapitola se zabývá obecnějšími záležitostmi self-management a pojednává o definicích pojmu očima rozlišných autorů. Jsou zde zahrnuty také funkce self-managementu, mezi které řadíme self-concept (sebepoznání), self-realization (sebeuplatnění), self-development (seberozvoj). Za oblast příbuznou self-managementu považujeme time-management, proto je druhá kapitola věnována právě jemu. Zde se zaměřujeme mimo jiné i na ověřené techniky a zmiňujeme důležitost stanovování cílů. Poslední kapitola teoretické části práce objasňuje principy účinného a efektivního sebeřízení a využívání času studenty, přičemž je zde nastíněn i problém prokrastinace. Realizace praktické části probíhá formou kvantitativního výzkumu, kde je na základě vytvořeného dotazníku a posléze získaných dat odpovězeno na předem stanovené výzkumné otázky. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, zda jsou a v jaké míře studenti Univerzity Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně schopni sebeřízení a řízení času vzhledem ke svým studentským povinnostem.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on self-management and time-management problematics. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into three chapters whereaas the first one deals with more general issues of self-management and definitions through the eyes of different authors and there are included some functions of self-management too. We rank these among them: self-concept, self-realization and self-development. To related section we consider time-management. Because of that, the second chapter is dedicated to it. In this chapter among other things, we get to proven techniques and mention the importance of goal setting. Last chapter of theoretical part of the thesis clarifies the principles of effective and efficient self-management and use time by students. The problem of procrastination is also outlined there. The implementation of the practical part takes place in the form of quantitative research, where it is answered on the basis of a created questionnaire and subsequently obtained data to predetermined research questions. The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is to find out whether and to what extent the students of Tomas Bata University in Zlín are able to self-manage and manage time with regard to their student duties.
