This bachelor thesis focuses on the work of contemporary Portuguese author Lídia Jorge (1946). The subject matter are the short stories "Belo Adormecido" and "As três mulheres sagradas" from the collection Belo Adormecido (2004), which explore the characters of adolescents and their confrontation with the adult world. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dílem současné portugalské autorky Lídie Jorge (1946). Předmětem analýzy jsou povídky „Belo Adormecido“ a „As três mulheres sagradas“ ze sbírky Belo Adormecido (2004), ve kterých zkoumáme postavy dospíva-jících a jejich konfrontaci se světem dospělých.
