Vogts and burgomasters of Velký Týnec in 18th and first half of 19th century

Abstract:

Magisterská práce pojednává o představitelích poddanské samosprávy (rychtář, pudmistr) v 18. a 1. polovině 19. století na olomoucké kapitulní prebendě Velký Týnec. Sleduje genezi a vývoj těchto úřadů, rámcově od 13. století, zejména však dobu posledních 150 let existence patrimoniálního systému. Práce seznamuje s proměnami těchto úřadů zejména během osvícenských reforem a dalšího prosazování se státu do vztahu mezi vrchností a poddanými. Zabývá se specifiky náplně jednotlivých úřadů a to včetně specifik jejich obsazování. Kromě agendy těchto úřadů jsou v práci popsány také životy konkrétních představitelů poddanské samosprávy, na kterých jsou demonstrovány tyto změny. Analýzy seznamů rychtářů a pudmistrů sledují prosazování některých rodin v těchto úřadech a jsou tak příspěvkem v problematice mocenských struktur na venkově. V závěru práce se pozornost soustřeďuje na transformaci poddanské samosprávy do obecní samosprávy po roce 1848, resp. 1850.

Abstract:

The master's thesis is about representatives of servile local government (vogt, burgomaster) of capitular prebend Velký Týnec in the 18th century and the first half of the 19th century. It follows genesis and development of these offices, generally from the 13th century, but more consistently it follows the last 150 years existence of patrimonial system. The thesis describes the changes of these offices especially during the reforms of Enlightenment and following intrusion of state into relations between authorities and servitude. It is concerned with the specific tasks of particular offices and with the specifics of their appointment. Together with the agendas of these offices the lives of particular representatives are also described which serves to demonstrate these changes. Analyses of lists of officers show the assertion of some families in these offices and thus they are contribution to the study of power on the countryside. In the conclusion the attention is put on the transformation of the servile local government into municipal self government after the year 1848 (and 1850).
