Liquid level control with use of self-tuning continuous-time controllers

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem diplomové práce byla aplikace samočinně se nastavujících spojitých regulátorů pro řízení výšky hladiny modelu zásobníku na kapalinu. Cílem bylo srovnat výsledky dosažené adaptivními spojitými regulátory s výsledky dosaženými regulátory s pevně nastavenými parametry a s výsledky dosaženými diskrétními regulátory. Všechny použité regulátory jsou založeny na polynomiálních metodách. V samočinně se nastavujících verzích byla pro identifikaci parametrů modelu procesu využity metoda nejmenších čtverců s adaptivním směrovým zapomínáním, pro spojité regulátory modifikovaná pro odhad parametrů spojitého modelu procesu s využitím filtrace spojitých veličin.

Abstract:

The main aim of this diploma work was the application of self-tuning continuous time controllers for controlling of liquid level model of the water tank. The goal was to confront the results of self-tuning continuous time controllers with results of controllers with fix-adjusted parameters and with results of the discrete controllers. All used controllers were designed by Polynomial methods. Self-tuning controllers used recursive least square method with forgetting factor for parameter identification. This method was modified for estimation of continuous time controllers using continuous magnitudes filtration.
