"È così lieve il tuo bacio sulla fronte" by Caterina Chinnici and "Storia vera di Carmela Iuculano" by Carla Cerati: two works of art written by female writers about mafia

Abstract:

The thesis is dealing with books focused on italian mafia writen by women. Detail analysis of two books was performed. More specifically, analysis of book "È così lieve il tuo bacio sulla fronte" by Caterina Chinnici, whose father was murded by mafia and analysis of book "Storia vera di Carmela Iuculano" by Carla Cerati, who tells the story of wife of the mafian boss Pino Rizzo. The comparsion of these particular books as well as the comparision with books of Leonardo Sciascia and Roberto Saviano are performed. The analysis is perceded by an overview of other literature focused on mafia written by both, male and female authors.

Abstract:

Práce se věnuje knihám zaměřeným na italskou mafii, které napsaly ženy. Detailně rozebírá „È così lieve il tuo bacio sulla fronte“ od Cateriny Chinnici, jejíž otec byl zabit mafií a „Storia vera di Carmela Iuculano“ od Carly Cerati, která zpracovala příběh manželky mafiánského bosse Pina Rizza. Díla jsou pak srovnávány vzájemně a také s literární tvorbou Leonarda Sciasci a Roberta Saviana. Samotnému rozboru předchází souhrn dalších knih o mafii, napsaných jak muži, tak ženami.
