Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá podnikovou reputací se zaměřením na identifikaci nástrojů vytváření reputace chemických podniků u veřejnosti. První část práce představuje rešerši odborné literatury, kdy je nejprve definován pojem reputace podniku a jsou vymezeny přínosy a význam pozitivní reputace pro podnik. Navazující teoretická část se zabývá budováním reputace podniku a jsou zde identifikovány a hlouběji popsány jednotlivé nástroje vytváření reputace podniku. Na základě odborné rešerše jsou navržena kritéria pravděpodobně důležitá pro posuzování podnikové reputace veřejností. Praktická část práce prezentuje výsledky primárního kvantitativního výzkumu, jehož cílem bylo zjistit skutečnou důležitost navrhovaných kritérií z pohledu veřejnosti a identifikovat rozdíly ve vnímané důležitosti v závislosti na charakteristikách respondentů. Získané informace jsou analyzovány a vyhodnoceny. Na základě výsledků výzkumu bylo u navržených kritérií hodnocení reputace prokázána jejich relativní důležitost pro veřejnost a seznam byl doporučen k využití u podniků chemického průmyslu k řízení jejich reputace u veřejnosti.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of corporate reputation with the focus on the identification of instruments used for corporate reputation building. The first part of the thesis presents research of academic literature and defines the term corporate reputation and specifies the importance of a good reputation for a company. The following theoretical part is dedicated to a description of tools used for positive corporate reputation building. This part concludes with a list of criteria that as per academic literature affect the public perception of a chemical company. The practical part of the thesis presents the results of a primary quantitative research, which aimed to determine the actual importance of the literature-purposed criteria among the public. The information obtained from the research is analysed and evaluated. Based on the results, the criteria were proven to be important in the eyes of public and the list was recommended to be used by chemical firms in order to help them build and manage their reputation among public.
