In this thesis we study data classification, when predictors are data in functional form. We introduce classification methods such as k nearest neighbors, linear and quadratic discriminant analysis, logistic regression, functional logistic regression, decision trees and random forests. V této diplomové práci se věnujeme klasifikaci dat, kde jsou prediktory funkcionální podoby. Představíme metody klasifikace jako jsou k nejbližších sousedů, lineární a kvadratická diskriminační analýza, logistická regrese, funkcionální logistická regrese, rozhodovací stromy a náhodné lesy.
