Organizational culture: case study of the company

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce se zaměřuje na organizační kulturu a to, jak ji vnímají zaměstnanci. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části: teoretickou a empirickou. Teoretická část prezentuje dosavadní koncepty a poznatky o organizační kultuře, její specifika, vznik, předávání, prvky organizační kultury, typologie, modely a možnosti zkoumání. Cílem praktické části je porozumět a popsat organizační kulturu dané organizace. Cíl je naplňován skrze případovou studii s využitím více technik sběru dat. Empirická část popisuje jednotlivé fáze výzkumu. Výsledky jsou interpretovány v šesti kategoriích.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis focuses on organisational culture and how it is perceived by employees. The diploma thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part presents current concepts and knowledge of organisational culture, its specifics, origins, transmission, levels of organisational culture, typologies, models and research possibilities. The aim of the empirical part is to understand and describe organisational culture of the organisation. The aim is fulfilled through a case study with use of multiple research methods. The empirical part describes particular phases of qualitative research. The findings are presented in six categories.
