Evaluation of Business Activity of a Selected Company

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je na základě interních dat a údajů zhodnotit podnikatelskou činnost vybrané společnosti a následně navrhnout doporučení, která by společnost využila pro své další fungování. Ke zpracování diplomové práce jsou využity účetní výkazy, interní data společnosti Jedina a. s. a oborové hodnoty dostupné z portálu Ministerstva průmyslu a obchodu ČR. Úvodní část práce je zaměřena na fungování podniku a jeho hodnocení. Jsou zde rovněž popsány základní účetní výkazy a metody, pomocí kterých lze podnik hodnotit na základě externích a interních dat. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na detailní rozbor podnikatelské činnosti vybrané společnosti včetně zhodnocení a návrhu pro možná zlepšení a rozvoj s cílem zvyšovat efektivnost podnikatelské činnosti vybrané společnosti. Bylo zjištěno, že společnost generuje zisk ve všech sledovaných letech, což je bráno jako silná stránka. Za slabou stránku je brána skutečnost, že tržby společnost vytváří s vyššími náklady.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the business activities of the selected company based on internal data and data and then to propose recommendations that the company would use for its further operation. For the preparation of the thesis, financial statements, internal data of Jedina a. s. and industry values available from the portal of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic are used. The introductory part of the thesis is focused on the functioning of the company and its evaluation. It also describes the basic financial statements and methods by which the company can be evaluated based on external and internal data. The practical part of the thesis focuses on a detailed analysis of the business operations of the selected company, including an evaluation and proposal for possible improvements and development in order to increase the efficiency of the business operations of the selected company. It was found that the company generates profit in all the years under study, which is taken as a strength. The fact that the company generates revenue at a higher cost is taken as a weakness.
