Abstract:

Matematická estetika zahrnuje mnoho metod pro měření estetična. Tato práce se podrobně věnuje Klinger--Salingarosově hypotéze, která popisuje účinky obrazu na lidskou psychiku dvěma vysvětlujícími estetickými proměnnými Life a Complexity. Je zde testována hypotéza, zda psychologický efekt vyvolaný obrazem může být vyjádřený pomocí estetických proměnných. Je navržena aplikace, která generuje obrazy a určuje jejich estetické charakteristiky Life a Complexity. S využitím náhodného generování a evolučních algoritmů jsou generovány tisíce obrazů s cílem zjistit, jakých hodnot tyto charakteristiky nabývají. Proběhne výběrové šetření s cílem získat data pro statistickou analýzu Klinger--Salingarosovy hypotézy. Je navržena webová stránka, na které probíhá sběr dat formou hodnocení vybraných obrazů. Pro zpracování dat jsou využity různé statistické metody.

Abstract:

Mathematical aestetics includes many methods for aesthetics measuring. This work deals in detail with the Klinger--Salingaros hypothesis which describes effects of image to human psyche by two aesthetics variables Life and Complexity. The hypothesis is tested whether the psychological effect induced by the image can be expressed by aesthetic variables. An application is created that generates images and determines their aesthetic characteristics Life and Complexity. With the use of random generation and evolutionary algorithms, thousands of images are generated to determine what values these characteristics acquire. A survey will be conducted to obtain data for the statistical analysis of the Klinger--Salingaros hypothesis. A web site is designed for collecting data by evaluating a group of selected images. Various statistical methods are used for data processing.
