Abstract:

Pro svůj bakalářský koncert jsem zvoliv šest přednesových skladeb, které měly reprezentovat různá stylová období a možnosti hry na tenorový i basový trombon. V úvodu zazněla barokní sonáta neznámého autora, jako druhá zazněla Aria et Polonaise belgického skladatele Josepha Jongena, první polovinu uzavřela Sonáta pro trombon a klavír,, ke konci století '' slovenského skladatele Juraje Filase. První polovina koncertu tedy představovala průřez stylovými obdobími od baroka po moderní trombonovou tvorbu. Ve druhé polovině pokračoval koncert moderními skladbami pro basový trombon. Jako první zazněla skladba New Orleans od Eugena Bozzy, jako druhý byl uveden Koncert pro basový trombon od Erica Ewazena poslední skladbou večera byla sólová skladba bez doprovodu On Your Own Now Stevena Verhelsta.

Abstract:

For my bachelor's concerto, I chose six compositions that were supposed to represend different stylistic periods and possibilities of playing tenor and bass trombone. In the beginning, the baroque sonata an unknown author was played, as the second was played Aria et Polonaise by the Belgian composer Joseph Jongen, the first half was closed by sonata for trombone and piano,, At the end of century" by the Slovak composer Juraj Filas. The first half of the concert thus presented a cross-section of stylistic periods from the baroque to modern creation. In the second half, the concerto continued with modern compositions for basstrombone. The New Orleans composition by Eugene Bozza was performed first, the Concerto for bass trombone by Eric Ewazen was performed as the second and the last piece of the evening was the unaccompanied solo piece On Your Own Now by Steven Verhelst.
