Decision-making process of a manager in hotel management

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit názory manažerů na obsah a realizaci jednotlivých etap rozhodovacího procesu při řešení rozhodovacího problému v návaznosti na situace, které mohou nastat v hotelu nebo v hotelovém řetězci. V teoretické části bakalářské práce jsem se zaměřila na vymezení základních pojmů managementu, hotelovému managementu, rozhodování a rozhodovacího procesu a vymezení stylů rozhodování. V analytické části jsem rozebírala dotazník, který mi sloužil jako podklad pro celou kapitolu, sestavila jsem ke každé otázce graf nebo tabulku a následně okomentovala. V analytické části byly stanoveny i tři hypotézy, které byly vyhodnoceny pomocí chí kvadrát testu.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find managers' opinions on the content and realization of the individual stages of the decision making process in solving the decisional problem in connection with situations that can occur in the hotel or in the hotel chain. The theoretical part defines the basic term that are related to decision-making, manager, hospitality management. I have also focused on the characterictics of the different steps of the decision proces. In analytic part of this bachelor thesis for data collection methods I chose a questionnaire survey, which is devoted to the practical part of my job. This bachelor thesis has three parts – theoretical,practical and in the last one I propose a solution on three hypothesiss.
