Experience of midwives entering practice

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se řadí mezi práce teoreticko-průzkumné. Teoretická část je zaměřena na porodní asistentku včetně jejich kompetencí a požadovaného vzdělání. Též je zde obsažen adaptační proces, který je nedílnou součástí přechodu porodní asistentky do klinické praxe. Dále se teoretická část věnuje faktorům, které mohou adaptační proces ovlivnit. Součástí je též pracovní spokojenost a motivace pracovníků. V průzkumné části byla využita metoda kvantitativního sběru dat, kdy byl použit anonymní nestandardizovaný dotazník, který byl zaměřen na zkušenosti a průběh adaptačního procesu u záměrně vybraných respondentek.

Abstract:

The thesis is classified as a theoretical-research thesis. The theoretical part focuses on midwives including their competencies and required education. Also included is the adaptation process, which is an integral part of the midwife's transition into clinical practice. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on the factors that can influence the adaptation process. Job satisfaction and staff motivation are also included. In the research part, a quantitative data collection method was used, where an anonymous non-standardized questionnaire was used, which focused on the experience and course of the adaptation process of deliberately selected female respondents.
