Když mluvíme o snaze pochopit funkci proteinů, jedná se především o analýzu volného prostoru uvnitř těchto molekul. Volný prostor uvnitř proteinu můžeme rozdělit do několika skupin podle jeho tvaru, umístění a účelu. V mém výzkumu se zaměřuji především na detekci a analýzu takzvaných proteinových tunelů. Understanding proteins means mainly the analysis their inner voids. These voids can be classified according to their shape, location and purpose. In my research I focus on the detection and analysis of specific inner structures called tunnels in proteins.
