Current possibilities of cataracts treatment, new types of intraocular lenses and the selection criteria

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou léčby katarakty v současné době a problematikou nitroočních čoček. Úvodní kapitoly práce pojednávají o oční čočce a kataraktě v obecné rovině. Další kapitoly se věnují současným metodám v léčbě katarakty, je uvedena technika operace katarakty ultrazvukovou metodou a také je popsána operace katarakty pomocí femtosekundového laseru. Další část práce pojednává o nitroočních čočkách. Zabývá se novými typy nitroočních čoček a popisuje jednotlivé příklady. V poslední části jsou popsána kritéria výběru nitrooční čočky.

Abstract:

The bachelor theses deals with the issue of current possibilities of cataracts´ treatment and the intraocular lenses. The opening chapters deal general with the eye lens and the cataract. The next chapters are devoted to current methods in the cataracts´ treatment – the technique of ultrasound cataract and the technique using femtosecond laser. Following part of the thesis deals with intraocular lenses. It presents new types of intraocular lenses and describes same examples of intraocular lenses. The last part describes the selection criteria.
