Gender differences in the experience of the relationship with a depressive partner

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na genderové rozdíly ve zkušenosti ve vztahu s depresivním partnerem. Námět vychází především ze dvou diplomových prací, zabývajících se zkušeností partnerek/partnerů ve vztahu s depresivními muži/ženami. Výzkumný soubor tvoří šest žen a pět mužů. Pro analýzu dat byla použita metoda zakotvené teorie. Cílem výzkumu je bližší prozkoumání prožitků, projevů a zvládání de-prese s ohledem na genderové rozdíly a vysvětlení teoretického modelu založeného na rozdílně vnímané proměně vztahu muži a ženami, kteří jsou ve vztahu s depresivním. Studie poukazuje na důležitost věno-vání se problematice deprese a partnerství.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on gender differences in the experience in relationship with a depressive partner. The theme is based mainly on two dissertations dealing with the experience of partners in a relationship with depressive men / women. The research group consists of six women and five men. For data analysis was used grounded theory method. The research aims to further explore the experiences, manifestations and doping depression with respect to gender differences and explain the theoretical model based on differing perceptions of transformation of the relationship between men and women, who are in a relationship with a depressive partner. The study highlights the importance to pursue issues of depression and relationship.
