Primary School Teachers' Self-Assessment of Their Training in the Field of Gifted Education

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Pohled učitelů 1. stupně ZŠ na jejich vzdělání v oblasti vzdělávání nadaných žáků“ pojednává o problematice vzdělávání nadaných z pohledu pedagogů vyučujících na 1. stupni ZŠ. Práce se skládá z části teoretické a empirické. V první části jsou představena teoretická východiska problematiky vzdělávání nadaných. Tato část práce zahrnuje několik kapitol, v rámci kterých jsou uvedeny definice pojmů spojených s terminologií této problematiky, základní informace o inteligenci, různé typologie nadání, charakteristiky nadaného žáka, specifika vzdělávání nadaných a jejich identifikace, osobnost učitele nadaných žáků a možnosti vzdělávání pedagogů v této oblasti. Druhá část diplomové práce tvoří kvantitativní výzkumné šetření, které bylo provedeno prostřednictvím online dotazníkového šetření. Jsou zde představena získaná data, která jsou analyzována a konfrontována s nejnovějšími poznatky v oblasti vzdělávání nadaných z pohledu učitelů a vzdělávacích institucí.

Abstract:

The thesis "Primary School Teachers' Self-Assessment of Their Training in the Field of Gifted Children Education“ deals with the topic of education of gifted pupils from the perspective of primary school teachers. The thesis consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part includes several chapters concerning terminology, basic information about intelligence, various typologies and characteristics of gifted pupils, specifics of gifted pupils‘ education and their identification, the personality of a gifted pupils‘ teacher and possibilities of teachers‘ education in the field of education of gifted pupils. The second part of the diploma thesis is based on quantitative research carried out using an online questionnaire. The acquired data are introduced, analysed and confronted with some of the recent findings in the field.
