Bites orthogneiss-single or multiple intusion?

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo v bítešské ortorule ve svratecké klenbě moravika zjistit na základě obsahu a poměru U, Th a K z regionální terénní gamaspektrometrie, zda je ortorula tvořena jednoduchou nebo vícefázovou intruzí. Ortoruly se nejvíce odlišovaly v koncetraci K. Zajímavým zjištěním bylo zvyšování koncentrace K v tělese bítešské ortoruly směrem od západu k východu. V ortorule byly ověřeny obecně nízké koncentrace sledovaných prvků. Dnešní obsahy U a Th v ortorule byly přepočítány do dřívějších obsahů v pravděpodobné době vzniku horniny. Z obsahů se zaměřením na U a Th vyplývá, že je ortorula homogenní hornina chudá na tyto prvky. Nízké obsahy U, Th v regionálním gamaspektrometrickém měření i v přepočtech obsahu potvrzují, že je intruze jednoduchá. Bítešská ortorula pravděpodobně vznikla z protolitu, který byl chudý na U a Th.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to investigate if the Bíteš orthogneiss in the Svratka tectonic window of Moravicum was created by simple or multiphase intrusion, based on the contents and ratios of U, Th and K elements detected by the regional field gamma spectrometry. The highest variences in the orthogneisses have been recorded in the concentrations of the element K. Interesting observation has been the increase of concentration of K element in the Bíteš orthogneiss body in the west-east direction. Also, generally low concentrations of these observed elements have been confirmed in the orthogneiss. Present contents of U and Th in the orthogneiss have been recomputated to the former contents at the probable age of the rock origin. From the contents of U and Th it appears that the gneiss is poor and homogenous rock in this respect. Low contents of U and Th from the regional gamma spectroscopic measurements together with the recomputations of contents affirm, that the intrusion is simple. The Bíteš orthogneiss presumably originated from a protolith depleted of U and Th.
