Motherhood from the perspective of social pedagogy

Abstract:

Ve své bakalářské práci se věnuji mateřství, rodičovství a zvyšujícímu se věku prvorodiček, jakožto fenoménu dnešní doby. Svou práci jsem rozdělila na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsem se zaměřila na sociobiologické pojetí mateřství, historii mateřství a rodičovství, hlavní důvody odkládání mateřství, poukazuji na šance a rizika mateřství ve vyšším věku. V závěrečné kapitole teoretické části se věnuji představám mladých lidí o mateřství a rodičovství na základě výzkumů. Praktická část se zaměřuje na ženy ve věku 20-42 let a jejich pohled na mateřství. Pro svůj kvalitativní výzkum jsem si zvolila polostrukturovaný rozhovor. Respondentky budou odpovídat na základě svých individuálních zkušeností. Cílem praktické části je zjistit, jaké postoje zaujímají k mateřství a rodičovství ženy různých věkových kategorií.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis I devote myself to motherhood, parenthood and the increasing age of the primipara women as a phenomenon of our time. I divided my thesis into theoretical and practical parts. In the theoretical part I concentrated on the sociobiological concept of motherhood, history of motherhood and parenthood, what are the main reasons for postponing the motherhood, I identify the chances and risks of motherhood at the older age. In the final chapter of the theoretical part I focus on the young people´s ideas about motherhood and parenthood based on the surveys. The practical part is devoted to the women at the age between 20 and 42 and their view of motherhood. For my qualitative survey I chose a semi-structured interview. The respondents will answer based on their individual experience. The aim of the practical part is to find out what are the attitudes to motherhood and parenthood of women at different age categories.
