Financial literacy

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřená na finanční gramotnost a osobní finanční plánování, kdy gramotnost i plánování mají vliv na finanční situaci v domácnostech a na jejich úrovni závisí i jejich koupěschopnost. V diplomové práci je představen výzkum, jež byl proveden formou dotazníkové šetření v České republice. Dále je zde představen jednoduchý model Osobního finančního plánu, který prezentuje jeho možnosti. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, zda jsou rozdíly mezi zkoumanými kraji a zda Osobní finanční plán může pomoci domácnostem ke zlepšení finanční situace. K naplnění cíle práce a zodpovězení hlavních výzkumných otázek, bylo použito dotazníkové šetření, kdy byly popsány výsledky a rozbor jednoduchého finančního plánování. Získané výsledky byly komparovány s výzkumem Ministerstva financí (2020) a odbornou literaturou. Na základě syntézy poznatků bylo možné potvrdit stanovené hypotézy, kdy vyšlo, že existují rozdíly mezi zkoumanými kraji a Osobní finanční plán zlepšuje finanční situaci domácností.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on financial literacy and personal financial planning, where both literacy and planning affect the financial situation of households and their purchasing ability depends on their level. The thesis introduces research that was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey in the Czech Republic. Then there is a simple model of the Personal Financial Plan, which presents its possibilities. The aim of the research was to determine whether there were differences between the counties studied and whether the Personal Financial Plan could help households to improve their financial situation. To meet the aim of the work and answer the main research questions, a questionnaire investigation was used to describe the results and analysis of simple financial planning. The results obtained were extravagant with research by the Ministry of Finance (2020) and professional literature. On the basis of a synthesis of knowledge, it was possible to confirm established hypotheses, when it came out that there were differences between the counties studied and the Personal Financial Plan improved the financial situation of households.
