Playing conception of contemporary Afro-Cuban drummers
Abstract:
Anotace Diplomová práce „Herní koncepce současných afrokubánských bubeníků“ pojednává o historii afrokubánské hudby a jejím mísení s jazzem a dalšími styly. V práci jsou zaznamenány první zmínky o užití bicí soupravy v této hudbě. Zabývá se různými způsoby hry afrokubánské hudby na bicí soupravu. Jednotlivě se zaměřuje na některé interprety.
Abstract:
Annotation Diploma thesis „ Playing Conception of Contemporary Afro-Cuban Drummers“ deals with history of afro-cuban music and its mixing with jazz and other styles. In thesis are noticed first mentions about using drumset in this music. It also deals with different playing ways of afrocuban music. It focuses in detail on some interpreters.
