Respiratory physiotherapy of patients with covid-19 in intensive care

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou virového onemocnění covid-19. Dále popisuje vliv onemocnění na tělesný systém pacienta a porovnává jednotlivé fyzioterapeutické možnosti aplikované na pacienty. Klíčovou skupinou lidí, na které je tato práce zaměřena, jsou pacienti v intenzivní péči, kteří jsou primárně diagnostikovaní onemocněním covid-19 a jinou virovou pneumonií. Dle onemocnění a typu dechové podpory pacienti tvoří skupiny, jež jsou následně v práci porovnávány v rámci reakce na terapii. Vyšetření pacienta je zde prováděno kineziologickým rozborem a kontrolou vitálních parametrů pomocí nemocničních přístrojů. Samotný výsledek práce stanovil, že rehabilitace má významné pozitivní účinky u všech zkoumaných pacientů. Dále byly zaznamenány i rozdíly v podobě odlišné reakci na terapii mezi skupinami, které mohou být užitečné pro další práci na poli respirační fyzioterapie.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of covid-19 viral disease. It also describes the effect of the disease on the patient's body system and compares the various physiotherapeutic options applied to the patient. The key group of people that this work focuses on are intensive care patients who are primarily diagnosed with covid-19 and other viral pneumonia. According to the disease and the type of respiratory support, patients form groups, which are then compared in the work in response to therapy. The patient's examination is performed here by kinesiological analysis and control of vital parameters using hospital devices. The result of the work itself stated that rehabilitation brings significant positive results in all examined patients. Furthermore, differences in the response to therapy between groups were noted, which may be useful for further work in the field of respiratory physiotherapy.
