Content of music education at the 2nd grade Elementary school from 1948 to the present

Abstract:

Záměrem mé diplomové práce bylo seznámit čtenáře s vývojem hudební výchovy na druhém stupni od roku 1948 až po současnost. V první kapitole jsem se zaměřila na historický vývoj hudební výchovy. Vznikají zde výchovné koncerty, které u nás zavedl v roce 1949 František Blaha, a setrvávají v našem školství až do současnosti, ale pouze ve velmi malém množství. V kapitole následovala degradace hudební výchovy, při které se přestalo dbát na hlavní podstatu zachování tohoto předmětu na druhém stupni základních škol. Osud hudební výchovy byl během jejího vývoje neustále ve střetu s hlavními, stěžejními předměty, které nikdy nemusely bojovat o své místo v tematických plánech či učebních osnovách. V 70. letech se začala hudební výchova opět vyvíjet kupředu a více se prosazovat do vzdělávacího systému základních škol. Pohled na dnešní hudební výchovu se od 70. let v mnohém neliší, opět jsme před bojem o zachování hudební výchovy na druhém stupni základních škol a opodstatnění důležitosti tohoto předmětu v českém školství. Ve výzkumné části své diplomové práce se zaměřuji na pohled žáků a učitelů na současnou hudební výchovu. Z odpovědí a výsledků výzkumu je jasné, že je předmět brán na velice lehkou váhu a nepředává žákům vše, co by měl. Mělo by zde dojít k vhodnějšímu výběru učitelů a volit především ty, kteří jsou v hudební výchově aprobovaní a nemají jen rádi hudbu jako takovou. Učitelé by se neměli bát inovací v hudební výchově a naučit se využít všech dostupných materiálů, pomůcek, ale i samotného potenciálu dětí, které jsou mnohdy velice kreativní, ale jen nemají dostatečný prostor pro své vyjádření.

Abstract:

The intention of my thesis was to acquaint the reader with the development of music education in the second grade from 1948 to the present. In the first chapter I focused on the historical development of music education. The educational concerts that were introduced in our country in 1949 by František Blaha and have remained in our school system up to the present day, but only in very small numbers. The chapter followed the degradation of music education, in which the main essence of maintaining this subject at the second level of primary schools was no longer taken into account. Throughout its development, the fate of music education was constantly in conflict with the main, core subjects, which never had to fight for their place in the thematic plans or curriculum. In the 1970s, music education began to move forward again and become more established in the primary school education system. The view of music education today is not much different from that of the 1970s, and we are once again facing a struggle to preserve music education at the second level of primary schools and to justify the importance of this subject in Czech education. In the research part of my thesis I focus on the pupils' and teachers' view of contemporary music education. From the answers and results of the research it is clear that the subject is taken very lightly and does not convey to pupils everything it should. There should be a more appropriate selection of teachers and choose especially those who are apropos in music education and do not just like music as such. Teachers should not be afraid of innovations in music education and learn to use all available materials, aids, but also the very potential of children who are often very creative but just do not have enough space to express themselves.
