Development of mothers relationship to preterm infant

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřila na utváření vztahu žen k jejich předčasně narozeným dětem. Cílem bylo zjistit, co pomáhá a co naopak škodí utváření tohoto vztahu v době, kdy je dítě ještě hospitalizováno v nemocnici. Rovněž bylo cílem popsat, jaké pocity žen se pojí s utvářením vztahu v této době. Pro výzkum v této oblasti byla zvolena kvalitativní analýza dat. Se 6 ženami po předčasném porodu byl proveden polostrukturovaný rozhovor a získaná data byla poté analyzována za pomoci zakotvené teorie. Pocity, které byly tímto způsobem u respondentek identifikovány, byly především: obavy o zdraví dítěte, radost či spokojenost spojená z blízkým kontaktem, smutek z odloučení a nervozita z kojení. Zvláště důležitým zjištěním byly pocity přerušení vazby a pocity seznamování se. Nejdůležitějším podnětem, který pomáhá matkám budovat jejich vztah s dítětem byl tělesný kontakt, dále interakce s dítětem, pohled na dítě, péče o dítě a jeho stav. Nejvýznamnější překážkou v jeho budování pak bylo jednoznačně oddělení od dětí a dále rovněž problémy s kojením.

Abstract:

The work has focused on formation of relationship of mothers with preterm infants. The deal was to identify, what helps and harms formation this relationship, when a child is still in a hospital. Next deal was to define, what feelings of mothers take with this formation of relationship mother-child in this time. The qualitative analysis has been found as the most suitable choice for this research. There were 6 women in the sample and semistructed interview was done with them. Obtained data were analysed with the grounded theory. The ascertains feelings were: fears on childrens health, joy or satisfaction of near contact with child, sorrow of separation and nervousness of lactation. Very important findings was location of feelings of interrupted relationship and feelings of familiarising. Most important stimulations for formation of relationship mother-premature child were physical contact, view on child, care of child and its condition. Most important interruption of this formation of relationship was separation from children and problems with lactation too.
