The support and development of the child with ADHD syndrome in a family environment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou výchovy dětí se syndromem poruchy pozornosti s hyperaktivitou, známý také pod zkratkou ADHD, v rodinném prostředí. Cílem práce je zjistit specifika vývoje a podpory dítěte se syndromem ADHD a popsání obtíží, se kterými se rodiče a nejbližší příbuzní potýkají při jeho výchově. Teoretická část je vypracována na základě analýzy odborné literatury. Popisuje poruchy pozornosti s hyperaktivitou, charakterizuje dítě se syndromem ADHD a následně věnuje pozornost rodině, která je označována jako primární sociální skupina. Závěr teoretické části se zabývá kooperací rodiny a dalších institucí. Výzkumná část diplomové práce je věnována kvalitativnímu výzkumu, který je zpracován metodou případové studie v designu tzv. mnohonásobné případové studie. Metoda sběru dat byla formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s rodinami dětí se syndromem ADHD.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of education of children with the syndrome of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, also known by the acronym ADHD in a family environment. The goal of this thesis is to find out the specifics of the development and support of a child with the ADHD syndrome and describing the difficulties with which the parents and the nearest relatives faced in his education. The theoretical part is based on the analysis of the scientific literature. It describes attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, characterizes thechild with the ADHD syndrome and subsequently pays attention to the family, which is referred to as the primary social group. Conclusion the theoretical part deals with the cooperation of the family and other institutions. The research part of the thesis is devoted to the qualitative research, which is processed by the method of case study in the design of the so-called multiple case study. A method of data collection was in the form of semi-structured interviews with the families of children with the ADHD syndrome.
