Human breath as a starting point of musical composition

Abstract:
Tato práce pojednává o lidském dechu, jakožto o základním východisku hudební kompozice. Na lidský dech je v tomto kontextu nahlíženo z hlediska konceptu vtěleného hudebního poznání. Následně se autor zabývá tématem hudebního gesta a na základě uvedených definic a teoretických souvislostí navrhuje typologii a hierarchii hudebního gesta. This work explores the human breath as a starting point of musical composition. Breathing is observed in the context of embodied music cognition. According to its definitions and theoretic contexts, a typology and hierarchy of musical gesture is brought forth and applied to the author's personal compositional approach.
