The main competences for the successful implementation of managerial work

Abstract:

This thesis handles core competencies of logistic manager. The introduction of the theoretical part explains and analyses disputableness of personal resources which creates the corner stone of each enterprise and competences as a inevitable part needed for management activities. In subsequent chapters of the theoretical part competition components are being explained, their division and attributes, competence identification methods and also the competence model and the procedure of its creation. The work remits to the importance of competency approach. The practical part is dedicated to analysis of the work of a specific logistics manager in Eltek Valere s.r.o. company, identification of his core competences, where the outcome is a concrete "made to meassure " competential model for the logistics manager of the company. Its significance consists of selection and evaluation of personnel as well as of identification of their foibles and emninences needed for execution of given job title.

Abstract:

Diplomová práca sa zaoberá kľúčovými kompetenciami manažéra logistiky. Úvod teoretickej časti vysvetľuje a rozoberá problematiku ľudských zdrojov, ktoré tvoria základný kameň každého podniku a kompetencií ako nevyhnutnej súčasti potrebnej pri riadiacej činnosti manažéra. V ďalších kapitolách teoretickej časti sú vysvetlené zložky kompetencií, ich členenie a znaky, metódy na identifikáciu kompetencií a tiež kompetenčný model a jeho postup pri tvorbe. Práca poukazuje aj na dôležitosť kompetenčného prístupu. Praktická časť je venovaná analýze práce konkrétneho manažéra logistiky spoločnosti Eltek Valere s. r. o., identifikácií jeho kľúčových kompetencií, kde výsledkom je vytvorený konkrétny kompetenčný model „šitý na mieru“ manažérovi logistiky spoločnosti. Jeho význam spočíva v správnom výbere a hodnotení zamestnancov ako aj identifikácií ich silných a slabých stránok, potrebných na vykonávanie danej pracovnej pozície.
