Educational experiments with carbon group elements and their important compounds

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá prvky skupiny uhlíku, jejich významnými sloučeninami a obsahuje návody na jednoduché pokusy týkající se těchto prvků. Práce je rozdělena na tři části - teoretickou, didaktickou a praktickou. Teoretická část pojednává obecně o prvcích skupiny uhlíku a jejich sloučeninách - o jejich výskytu, fyzikálních a chemických vlastnostech, výrobě, použití a významných kyslíkatých a bezkyslíkatých sloučeninách. Didaktická část se zabývá postavením výuky chemie v RVP, metodami výuky a rolí laboratorního cvičení ve výuce chemie na základních i středních školách. V praktické části je shromážděno 17 návodů na jednoduché laboratorní experimenty týkající se prvků skupiny uhlíku a jejich sloučenin. Návody jsou upraveny tak, aby pokusy byly lehce proveditelné žáky či učiteli. V poznámce u každého pokusu je uvedena vhodnost pro žáky ZŠ či SŠ a přibližný čas na přípravu a provedení pokusu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on carbon group elements, their important compounds and includes instructions for easy experiments concerning these elements.This thesis is divided into three parts theoretical, didactical and practical. The theoretical part deals with carbon group elements and their compounds in general about their occurrence, physical and chemical characteristics, production, application and important oxygenous and oxygenousless compounds. The didactical part focuses on the position of teaching chemistry in Framework education programme, methods of teaching and on the role of laboratory exercise in chemistry lessons at both elementary and high schools. The practical part includes 17 instructions on easy laboratory experiments that are concerning on carbon group elements and their compounds. They are adjusted so that all pupils and teachers could follow them. Each experiment contains a remark in which the level of difficulty is stated, if suitable for elementary or high school students as well as approximate time duration.
