Change in Everyday Life in the Retirement Home during Coronavirus Epidemics

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak zasáhla epidemie koronaviru do každodennosti uživatelů a personálu ve vybraném domově pro seniory. Dále je cílem této bakalářské práce zjistit, jak koronavirové opatření ovlivnilo zdravotní stav uživatelů a personálu. Výzkum byl proveden prostřednictvím kvalitativních metod, byly využity metody jako zúčastněné pozorování a polostrukturované rozhovory s uživateli a personálem. Pro porovnání proměny každodennosti v domově pro seniory před pandemií a po propuknutí pandemie byla provedena analýza dokumentů, konkrétně prostřednictvím záznamů v denních knihách, které jsou vedeny v domově pro seniory již po několik let. Součástí bakalářské práce je i audiovizuální výstup.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to find out how the coronavirus epidemic affected the everyday life of users and staff in a selected home for the elderly. Furthermore, the aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out how the coronavirus measure affected the health status of users and staff. The research was carried out using qualitative methods, methods such as participatory observation and semi-structured interviews with users and staff were used. To compare the transformation of everyday life in the pre-pandemic and post-pandemic outbreaks, an analysis of documents was performed, specifically through records in daily books, which have been kept in the nursing home for several years. Part of the bachelor thesis is also audiovisual output.
