Ethics of Direct Work in the Home for Seniors in Jeseník.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá seniory a pracovníky přímé péče ve vybraném zařízení Centra sociálních služeb v Jeseníku. Teoretická část obecně popisuje možnosti sociální péče o seniory, etické normy a hodnoty, které se dotýkají seniorů a pracovníků přímé péče. Taktéž aktivizačních metod a komunikačních procesů, které jsou seniorům nabízeny. Cílem předložené diplomové práce je formou kombinovaného výzkumu zjistit, zda li jsou v organizaci užívány a akceptovány etické hodnoty a normy. Dále zjistit možnosti aktivizačních programů v domově pro seniory. V sociální práci se seniory je důležitá i vzájemná komunikace seniora a sociálního pracovníka, proto je cílem zjistit kvalitu jejich vzájemné komunikace.

Abstract:

Thesis is concerning workers and residents of direct care in the selected facility Center of social services in Jesenik. The theoretical part objectively describes possibilities of social care for seniors, ethical norms and values, which dealing with seniors and direct care workers. As well as activation methods and communication processes, which are offered to the residents. The purpose of this thesis is to find out by combined research, if the ethical values and norms are being followed and accepted. The next thing is to elaborate possibilities of activation programmes in the retirement home. Mutual communication of the resident and the worker is key when it comes to social work, therefore the purpose is to find out the quality of their communication.
