Development of personality prerequisites of future teachers through self-experience learning

Abstract:

Tématem mé diplomové práce je ?Rozvoj osobnostních předpokladů budoucích pedagogů prostřednictvím sebezkušenostního učení? v němž se zabývám formou výuky, která by mohla studentům pedagogických oborů pomoci nastartovat osobnostní rozvoj a umožnit tak lepší náhled na sebe sama, na svůj osobitý potenciál. V teoretické části práce se věnuji profilu pedagoga, jeho osobnosti, vývoji sebepojetí, pedagogickému umu a nedostatkům pregraduální přípravy spolu s návrhy na změnu očima odborníků. Dále představuji osobnostní rozvoj pedagogů, obsah a cíle v pojetí odborníků na danou problematiku a jeho průběh na vysoké škole formou sebezkušenostního učení. Teoretickou část uzavírám kapitolou sebepoznání, mnohdy považovaného za jeden z hlavních cílů a zároveň východisek pro záměrný rozvoj osobnosti. V praktické části prezentuji vlastní výzkumné šetření, týkající se sebezkušenostního předmětu ?Rozvoj osobnosti učitele?, jež proběhl ve dvou semestrech na Pedagogické Fakultě Ostravské univerzity v Ostravě. Cílem práce je zjistit, jak studenti, absolvující tento předmět, vnímají sebezkušenostní přípravu ve vztahu k sebepoznání.

Abstract:

The topic of the present master?s thesis is ?The Development of Future Educators? Personality Prerequisites Through Self-Experience Teaching?. It is concerned with such form of teaching that could help students of pedagogy start their personality development and thus enable them to have a better view of themselves and their idiosyncratic potential. The theoretical part is devoted to the profile of an educator, their personality, and development of self-concept, pedagogical skills and deficiencies in undergraduate training, together with expert proposals for change. Furthermore, it presents the personality development of educators, the content and objectives of experts on the issue, and the way it develops at university by means of self-experience learning. The theoretical part is concluded with a chapter about self-knowledge, frequently considered as one of the main objectives and, at the same time, grounds for a deliberate development of a personality. The practical part is dedicated to my own research which is concerned with a self-experience subject ?The Development of Teacher?s Personality?, which was held for the duration of two semesters at the Pedagogical Faculty of the University of Ostrava. The aim of the thesis is to find out how students undergoing this subject perceive the self-experience training in relation to the self-knowledge.
