GPS Navigation Games on the Example of Whereigo

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Navigační hry GPS na příkladu hry Wherigo, se zabývá fenoménem zvaný navigační hry. Tato práce je věnována Geocachingu, Wherigo a dalším navigačním hrám. Je zde popsána historie a princip samotných her. Na začátku práce je popsáno, co to vůbec navigační hra je. Dále je zde popisován Geocaching, protože je to základ všech her. Na to navazují herní aktivity, které ve většině případů mají nějaký stejný rys s Geocachingem. A na závěr je zde popisována hra Wherigo. U Wherigo jsem popisovala princip hry, programy, které jsou s Wherigo spojeny. A nakonec zde popisuji samotné vytvoření a programování dvou Wherigo her.

Abstract:

Thesis GPS Navigation Games on the Example of Wherigo, deals with phenomenon called the navigation game. This work is dedicated to geocaching, and other navigation Wherigo games. It describes the history and principles of games. At the beginning of the work described is what the game is not navigation. There is also described geocaching, as it is the basis for all games. Of gaming activities linked with GPS, which in most cases they have something to do with geocaching. And finally, there is described Wherigo game. In principle I described Wherigo games, programs that are associated with Wherigo. Finally, I describe the actual creation and programming of two Wherigo games.
