Importance and representation of crypto assets in the portfolio of Czech households

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na zjištění významu a zastoupení kryptoaktiv v portfoliu českých domácností. Teoretická část práce předkládá důležité znalosti z oblasti kryptoaktiv, tvorby investičních portfolií a následně představuje model jednotné teorie akceptace a použití technologií. Vztahy v rámci tohoto poupraveného modelu jsou v praktické části vyhodnoceny na základě výsledků odpovědí z provedeného kvantitativního výzkumu. Jsou zde komentovány výsledky anketního šetření. Dále je sestaveno a porovnáno portfolio respondentů, které poukazuje na reálné zastoupení jednotlivých aktiv. Ke konci práce jsou zodpovězeny výzkumné otázky, které přináší bližší poznání souvislostí a významu kryptoaktiv pro české domácnosti.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the importance and representation of crypto assets in the portfolio of Czech households. The theoretical part of the thesis presents important knowledge in the field of crypto assets, and investment portfolio formation and then presents a model of a unified theory of acceptance and use of technology. The relationships within this modified model are evaluated in the practical part based on the results of the responses conducted from the quantitative research. The results of the survey are commented on. In continuation, a portfolio of respondents is constructed and compared to show the real representation of each asset. Towards the end, research questions are answered to provide a deeper understanding of the context and importance of crypto assets for Czech households.
