Contemporary sacral architecture and places of manifestations of religiousness in the landscape

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá soudobou sakrální architekturou v krajině a místy, kde v současnosti dochází k projevům zbožnosti. Část literární rešerše se zaobírá současnou náboženskou situací v České republice a jejím vlivem na projevy religiozity v krajině. Zmíněn je zde také význam drobných sakrálních objektů v historii a současnosti. Rešerše dále přistupuje k příkladům současných náboženským artefaktům v krajině, přičemž poukazuje na jejich charakter a vztah ke krajinným souvislostem dané-ho místa. Završením práce je návrh duchovní stezky v modelovém území v Mostě. Vybraná zájmová oblast se nachází u Mosteckého jezera, kde bývalo staré město Most. Průzkumy a rozbory provedené v území napomohly k definování jeho stavu a vytvoření návrhu, jehož záměrem je obnovit duchovní aspekt místní krajiny.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with contemporary sacral architecture in the landscape and places where religiousness is currently manifested. Part of the literary research deals with the actual religious situation in the Czech Republic and its influence on the manifestations of religiosity in the landscape. The importance of small sacral objects in history and the present is mentioned here. The research also approaches examples of contemporary religious artifacts in the landscape, pointing out their nature and relationship to the landscape context of the place. The work is completed by the design of a spiritual path in the model area in Most. The elected area is located by Lake Most where the old town of Most used to be. Surveys and analyzes carried out in the area helped to define its condition and to create a proposal aimed at restoring the spiritual aspect of the local landscape.
