Economy of the football club Bohemians 1905

Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je finanční analýza a vyhodnocení ekonomické situace sportovního klubu Bohemians 1905, který již dlouhá desetiletí neodmyslitelně patří na naši fotbalovou scénu. Práce je členěna na úvod, teoreticko - metodologickou část, praktickou část a závěr, za nímž následuje seznam použité literatury a přílohy. Úvodní kapitola je zaměřena na seznámení s tématem, objasnění vztahu ke sportu a důvod výběru zvolení tématu. V této části se také budu snažit vytyčit cíle své práce. V teoreticko - metodologické části jsem se věnoval objasnění základních pojmů v ekonomice sportovního klubu a metodologii finanční a ekonomické analýzy. Praktická část zahrnuje charakteristiku společnosti, vlastní finanční a ekonomickou analýzu a porovnání vybraných výsledků s ostatními kluby. V závěru bych rád shrnul výsledky své práce, zhodnotil naplnění zvolených cílů a seznámil s aktuálním děním v klubu.

Abstract:

The goal of my Bachelor Thesis is a financial analysis and evaluation of the economic situation of the sports club Bohemians 1905. The club has been an important part of the national football scene for decades. The thesis is divided into an introduction, theoretical and methodological part, practical part and a conclusion, these are followed by references and appendices. The introduction chapter is focused on presenting the topic, explanation of the relationship of the topic to sports and the reasons for choosing this topic. In this chapter the goals of the thesis are defined. In the theoretical and methodological chapter, the basic concepts in the economics of a sports club and methodology of financial and economic analysis are explained. The practical part includes the characterization of the company, the financial and economical analysis and comparison with selected results of other sports clubs. In the conclusion, the results of the thesis are summarized, the goals set out in the introduction are evaluated and there is an overview of the current situation of the club.
