Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá fázovým složením elektrárenských popílků a kvantitativním stanovením mullitu, portlanditu, CaO a magnetitu. První částí je literární rešerše, ve které jsou shrnuty poznatky o technologiích spalování na různých typech ohnišť a vznikajících emisích. Dále jsou podrobněji popsány popílky z práškových a fluidních ohnišť, jejich vlastnosti, klasifikace a využití v různých odvětvích. Následuje přehled a stručná charakteristika metod kvantitativních fázových analýz popílků. V poslední části je popsán vznik a vlastnosti vybraných minerálů. Metodická kapitola je věnována metodám RTG difrakce, v níž je detailněji popsána zejména metoda vnitřního standardu. V experimentální části je prezentována vypracovaná metodika kvantitativního stanovení mullitu, portlanditu, CaO a magnetitu pomocí RTG práškové difrakce metodou vnitřního standardu. Podle přesně navážených směsí byly stanoveny rovnice lineární regrese, na jejichž základě je možné určit zastoupení vybraných minerálů v libovolné směsi. K ověření správnosti metody byly použity umělé kontrolní směsi, z jejich měření vyplynulo, že celková průměrná absolutní chyba stanovení se pohybuje v rozmezí 2,2 – 5,7 %.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the phase composition of fly ash and quantitative determination of mullite, portlandite, lime and magnetite. The first part is a literature review where is summarized the knowledge of combustion technologies on various types of furnaces and resulting emissions. More detailed are described the fly ashes from powder and fluid bed-furnaces, their properties, classification and utilization in different sectors, followed by an overview and brief characteristics of methods of quantitative phase analysis of fly ash. The formation and properties of selected minerals are described in the last part. Methodology chapter is devoted to X-ray diffraction methods where the internal standard method is especially detailed described. In the experimental part is presented elaborated methodology of quantitative determination of mullite, portlandite, lime and magnetite by X-ray powder diffraction using the internal standard method. According to accurately weighted mixtures were specified the linear regression equations which allows determination of the presentation of selected minerals in any mixture. For verification of the accuracy of the method were used synthetic mixtures and from their measurements emerged that the total average absolute error of determination ranges from 2.2 – 5.7 %.
