Diplomová práce shrnuje základní poznatky o polarizovaném světle – o jeho vzniku, vlastnostech a využití. Velká část textu je věnována polarimetrii a polarimetrickým přístrojům. The diploma thesis summarizes the general pieces of knowledge about polarized light – the formation, the properties and the usage. The major part of the text is concerned with polarimetry and polarimetric instruments.
