Prevention of knee injury during volleyball rebounding in older female students

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je zjistit, zda u hráčky volejbalu po rekonstrukci předního zkříženého vazu existují změny a mechanickém zatížení kolenního kloubu při doskoku a jak tyto změny ovlivňují biomechaniku po zranění a aplikaci cvičebního programu ve srovnání se zdravou populací hráček volejbalu. Smyslem studie je snaha o omezení zranění u dětí staršího školního věku a aplikace této studie na děti staršího školního věku pro prevenci zranění kolenního kloubu. Teoretická část popisuje aspekty týkající se zranění ACL, mechanismy poranění, anatomii kolenního kloubu, postoj volejbalu v RVP, průpravná cvičení proti zranění kolenního kloubu. Výzkum byl proveden v biomechanické laboratoři Katedry studií lidského pohybu na Ostravské univerzitě. Test byl proveden v podobě doskoků z bedny na obě končetiny, na jednu končetinu, skok v laterálním směru na obě a na jednu končetinu. Výzkum byl snímán pomocí devíti infrakamer typu Qualisys Oqus 100. Data byly zpracovány pomocí softwaru Qualisys track manager. Bylo provedeno 5 měření s dvěma probandy a rozdíly mezi průměry byly porovnány pomocí věcné významnosti. Byly zjištěny maximální a minimální úhly v sagitální a transverzální rovině a také míra vertikální reakční síly. Z výsledků vyplývá, že tato studie biomechaniky kolenního kloubu může napomoct k tvorbě preventivních programů proti zranění předního zkříženého vazu.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out whether there are changes in the mechanical loading of the knee joint during rebounding in female volleyball players after reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament and how these changes affect biomechanics after injury and the application of an exercise program compared to a healthy population of female volleyball players. The purpose of the study is to try to reduce injuries in children of older school age and to apply this study to children of older school age for the prevention of knee joint injuries. The theoretical part describes the aspects related to ACL injury, mechanisms of injury, anatomy of the knee joint, position of volleyball in RVP, preparatory exercises against knee joint injury. The research was conducted in the biomechanical laboratory of the Department of Human Movement Studies at the University of Ostrava. The test was performed in the form of box jumps on both limbs, one limb, lateral jump on both limbs and one limb. The research was imaged using nine Qualysis Oqus 100 infrared cameras. Data were processed using Qualysis track manager software. Five measurements were performed with two probands. The results from the measurements were fed into a general formula to calculate the substantive significance (Cohen's d) and then processed using tables and graphs. The maximum and minimum angles in the sagittal and transverse planes were determined, as well as the vertical reaction force measure. The results suggest that this study of knee joint biomechanics may help in the development of preventive programs against anterior cruciate ligament injuries.
